The Laboratory is testing both male and female condoms for performance and quality control purposes. The laboratory provides performance testing services for National Department of Health for continuous quality performance monitoring as well as to other countries in Africa. Testing is based on ISO/SANS 4074 and 25841 requirements. The laboratory is accredited to SANS 17025:2017 (ISO/IEC17025:2017) for male condoms. SANAS number: I 0192.
