The Textiles and Leather laboratory is capable of testing various types of textile materials (household, apparels, work wear, medical textiles (surgical gowns, bandages, etc.)); and Leather (safety footwear, men’s shoes, school shoes, etc.) Testing on these products is conducted to ensure the quality, performance and safety for safety footwear and work wear according to international and national specifications. The laboratory is accredited to SANS 17025:2017 (ISO/IEC17025:2017). SANAS number: T 0321.
